A Piramis együttes a magyar rockzene történetének egyik legnagyobb legendája. A 35 évvel ezelőtt alakult zenekar a '7o-es évek második felének legnépszerűbb és legnagyobb hatású csapata volt, lemezei 1oo.ooo-es példányszámban fogytak, évente több mint 3oo koncertet adott, Budai Ifjúsági Parki koncertjei minden közönségcsúcsot megdöntöttek. Az együttes megszűnése után 1992-ben tért vissza, öt (!) frenetikus sikerű koncerttel a Budapest Sportcsarnokban, majd 2oo6-ban két teltházas bulival a Papp László Arénában. Sokan azt remélték, hogy együtt marad a zenekar, de ez nem következett be és akkor úgy látszott, hogy az együttes legendás nótái soha többé nem hallhatók élőben.
Ekkor azonban Nyemcsók János (Csoki) énekes, aki fanatikus Piramis rajongó, létrehozta a Piramix nevű tribute zenekart, hogy életben tartsa a zenekar emlékét. A későbbiek során előbb Závodi János majd Gallai Péter is fellépett vendégként velük, a zenekar tábora és népszerűsége egyre nőtt. Köves Miklós belépésével azután már háromra nőtt az eredeti Piramis tagok száma és ez magával hozta a régi csapat újjáalakulását. A Csoki (ének), Závodi János (gitár), Vörös Gábor )basszusgitár), Gallai Péter (billentyűk), Köves Miklós (dob) összeállítású zenekar Piramis Plusz néven kezdett el játszani, ezzel utalva a régi zenekar utolsó lemezének címére, valamint megadva a tiszteletet az együttes egykori vezetőjének Som Lajosnak, aki egészségügyi problémái miatt nem lehet az új felállás tagja.
Az együttes az újjáalakulás óta eltelt két év alatt csaknem 1oo koncerten hozta vissza a régi Piramis korszak hangulatát, nagysikerű koncerteket adott mind itthon, mind Erdélyben, a Felvidéken és a Vajdaságban.
"Kívánj igazi ünnepet" címmel 1978 karácsonyán lépett fel az együttes az Ifjúsági Parkban, a mostani buli pedig az új felállás első, jelentős önálló koncertje Budapesten. A zenekar látványos koncertre készül, amellyel szeretné felidézni azt a fantasztikus érzést, amit csak egy Piramis fellépés adhatott és adhat a mai napig. Sajnos Som Lajos egészségi állapota miatt nem vehet részt a koncerten, Révész Sándor pedig szólópályára lépett és lezárta életének ezt a korszakát, de reméljük nélkülük is teljes lesz az élmény. "A Piramis egy karácsonyi zenekar"-mondta Závodi Janó és a buli ezt szeretné igazolni.
A koncert vendége a nagyon tehetséges fiatalokból álló Breakthru együttes, a klasszikus rock nótákat játszó Üzletember's és az Edda és a No legendás gitárosának, Slamovits Istvánnak Slamo Band nevű zenekara.

I held off on writing a review until I had some time to get use to the new interface. After several months of Office 2010 activation MS Office 2007, I can now say it is absolutely the worst MS Office interface ever. There are some nice new Microsoft outlook features, if you can find them.

Sziasztok. Az rendben van, hogy Lajos és Sándor nélkül zenélnek tovább, de azt nem értem hogy a Csoki nevű úriembernek miért kell Sándort majmolnia. Miért nem adja a színpadon önmagát. A mozgása olyan mintha valami Révész paródia lenne. A másik dolog pedig, hogy ha olyan tehetségesek, akkor miért a régi dalokat nyomják körbe-körbe. Már ideje lenne alkotni is nem csak a régi csontokat szopogatni. Ennek ellenére sok sikert kívánok, habár az ilyen Piramis Plusz koncertre nem mennék el, mert nem akarom magamban a régi nagy Piramis koncertek emlékét lerombolni.

Már bocsánat,hogy ezt irom,de szerintem valamit nagyon elnéztél. A Csoki nevű úriember,szerintem(mások szerint is!),nem majmolja a Sándort. Tiszteli,de NEM majmolja! Elismeri azt amit csinál,vagy csinált. Sokan szeretik a mostani Piramist és nem vonnak párhuzamot a két énekes között. Mindkettőnek van saját egyénisége. Igenis ,jól énekeli a dalokat,SŐT nagyon jól szólnak,és mindent megtesz azért ,hogy ez így is maradjon.

Majd nem mindennel egyetértek az előttem szólóval, Révész miatt tört ki a balhé és ezt tök cikk is leírja, és nem tudom, hogy ki lett volna Som Lajos nélkül aztán még ő akarja kitúrni Lajos-t a zenekarból? Révész Sanyi egy utánozhatatlan színpadi jelenség. Becsülöm, tisztelem,de azzal nem értek egyet, hogy a "régi-új" Piramis nem közelítené meg a 2006os visszatérést, mert nem egy szintű koncertekről beszélünk egy Pecsa és egy Sportaréna közt is van különbség nem beszélve arról, hogy a sok maradi csak Révésszel hajlandó hallgatni a Piramist és nem jönnek el a mostani Piramisra. Mindenki tudja szerintem Csoki is, hogy nem tudja teljes mértékben pótolni/utánozni Révész Sanyit, de szerintem mindent megtesz ennek fejében és ez becsülendő. Ott voltam a Pecsás koncerten és hatalmas buli volt, ugyanúgy énekelt a tömeg, mint Révész idejében csak hát kevesebben. :) Szerintem Csokinak a hangszíne teljesen ugyanaz mint Sanyinak csak kicsit nyersebb,és gyengébb, de hangsúlyozom így is nagyon jó :)

Az új Piramis nem rossz, sőt jó kis együttes! Azonban a dolog nagysága és népszerűsége meg sem közelíti a régi visszatéréseket(1992,2006), viszont személy szerint örülök, hogy hallhatok valami hasonlót élőben!
A korábbi vitához visszakapcsolva egy kicsit: imádom a P.Mobilt (talán még a Piramistól is jobban), de kétségtelen, hogy a Piramis nagyobb népszerűségnek örvendhetett abban az időben amikor létezett, mint bármelyik zenekar az országban, beleértve akár az Omegát is. A P.Mobil, Rice irtó jó zenekarok, de egyszerűen keményebb rockot képviselnek és lázadóbbak voltak, a Piramis szélesebb kört tudott megmozgatni, ennyi az egész. Természetesen az akkori propaganda is befolyásolta a dolgokat, de az boztos, hogy a Piramis megszűnése előtti években a legnépszerűbb együttes volt Magyarországon!!!

Nagyon jó ez az"új" Piramis. Csoki és Vöri nagyon is helyt állnak, csak velük tőkéletes az együttes.
Fantasztikus a szinpadi munka a hangzás. Szépen szólnak a dalok Csoki szuper!

Ha éltél a '7o-es évek második felében, akkor tudhatnád, hogy mennyivel nagyobb közönséget vonzott a Piramis és mennyivel több lemezt adott el mint az általad említettek. Gondolkozz el azon, hogy a Piramis 1992-es visszatérésére 6o.ooo-en voltak kíváncsiak, a P.Mobil 1994-es Fradi pálya koncertjére pedig 8.ooo-en. Nagyra értékelem a Mobil, a Ricse és a HBB érdemeit, már csak azért is mert mindhárom zenekar a barátom, én csináltam a klubjaikat és szerveztem a koncertjeiket. Úgyhogy most lyukra futottál. Ha pedig nem éltél, akkor ne alkoss véleményt olyasmiről, amiben nincsenek személyes élményeid. Ha csöndben maradtál volna, akkor nem írtál volna baromságokat.
